Originally published in 1851, "Cranford" tells of changing mores in an English village. Illustrated by Hugh Thomson. Small octavo, bound in elaborate full morocco with pictorial gilt and inlay by the famed Kelliegram bindery with binder's stamp to the rear dentelle,red silk doublures, all edges gilt. Minor sunning to spine, else fine.
