A nice, sharp copy other than the dampstaining; does not affect illustrations or text. Slipcase has dampstaining discolorization, edge's separating, rubbing, etc.; not of presentation quality. Described as the 5th edition on the endpaper, along with a limitation of 1500 copies. Edited by Albert Simons and Samuel Lapham, with an Introduction by John Mead Howells. Various styles and periods of church and plantation architecture are represented in this fine publication. The prominent examples of architecture are explained in detail, and are followed by numerous plates.
