The outline of this monumental project, prepared for the Department of Commerce of the City of Philadelphia, by Geddes, Brecher, Qualls, Cunningham Architect/Planners; James C. Buckley Industrial and Transportation Consultants; and The Ballinger Company, Architects/Engineers. Full of architectural drawings, archival bw photographs, models, maps, and more. This amazing project has transformed the city and continues to be enhanced with new hotels, visitor sites, and more. The SS United States is docked there, hoping to be rehabiliated into the great ship it once was. A fascinating study!
