1925. unbound. 3.5 x 4.5 inches, no place, February 24, 1925. Signed in full with the addition of a sentiment written in Gaelic (not translated). Very good(+) condition. Irish radical politician who, in 1916, joined the Irish Republican Brotherhood. He fought in Marrowbone Lane in the Easter Uprising and was subsequently jailed in Wormwood Scrubs and Brixton prisons in England. He was a member of the Irish Republican Army, the guerrilla army of the Irish Republic, and successfully organized many bank robberies during the Irish War of Independence. He was on the personal staff of Michael Collins and would go on to support the Anglo-Irish Treaty. (Inventory #: 266525)
