Group of 4 Carte-de-Visite Photographs of Christopher Dunkin (1812- 1881) Canadian lawyer, politician and judge, "...In addition to wide-ranging knowledge Dunkin seems to have possessed great intellectual capacity and might have been expected to have become a more outstanding figure in Quebec or Canadian politics...In spite of everything, including poor health, he did, however, make an important contribution in the field of public administration..." Montreal studio imprint on the back of 3 cards, which have the light blue Inglis mounts; the unidentified studio with a cream mount, pencil identified as Dunkin & dated April 1874 on the reverse; light wear to mounts, one Inglis with a soft corner; in very good condition..
