The editing was done by Benjamin Vaughan, who has clearly made use of his MS. copy of the autobiography in the re- translation. An additional volume of Franklin's scientific writings was also announced, but never printed" - Ford. "A part of Franklin's Autobiography appears here in English for the first time" - Goodspeed.
