1850 · New York
by Dods, John Bovee
New York, 1850. 64pp. Original printed wrappers. Minor wear and soiling, slight chipping to the spine. Light foxing. Good plus. One of the numerous eulogies delivered after the unexpected death of President Taylor. He died in office just sixteen months into his presidency, less than a week after ingesting raw fruit and iced milk that seemed to introduce or encourage a mysterious intestinal ailment. Not in Sabin or Howes. Rare, with only five institutions recording copies in OCLC. OCLC 10049607 (Inventory #: WRCAM49530)
