HISTORY OF THE OSAGE NATION, ITS PEOPLE, RESOURCES AND PROSPECTS [wrapper title]
1906 · [Pawhuska
by Dickerson, Philip
[Pawhuska, 1906. 144pp. Lacks wrappers. Good. Confusion exists concerning this very scarce Oklahoma book. Only a very few copies were initially distributed because the author, who was also the publisher, went bankrupt shortly after publication. We are told that a remainder of this item was found by a Kansas City bookseller in the 1940s, lacking wrappers, and that he had blue and pink wrappers made. This pamphlet contains much information on the Osage in Oklahoma and the history of the northeastern part of the state. STREETER SALE 606. GRAFF 1079. HOWES D321. (Inventory #: WRCAM1176)
