A good, above average copy. Founded by Harold Loeb and Alfred Kreymborg as editors, with later participation by associates Matthew Josephson, Slater Brown, Lola Ridge and Malcolm Cowley. In terms of excellence of format, editorial taste, and caliber of artistic and literary contributions, BROOM stands out noticeably from the general mass of periodicals of its era.
