London: Oxford University Press, 1963. Cloth. Very Good/Very Good. A handsome copy of this imposing elephant folio, the 1963 facsimile re-issue of Blake's epic poem "Vala". Includes the facsimile of the manuscript, a transcript of the poem itself and a study of its growth and significance by G.E. Bentley Jr. Solid and VG in its tan cloth, with light water-staining restricted to the very bottom edge of the first 10 pages or so. Several subtle examples as well of small tape residue at the front free endpaper and very light staining along the fore-edge. In a bright, price-intact, VG example of the dramatic dustjacket, with one small chip at the front panel's lower-edge and several closed, inofensive tears along the spine. Still though, very presentable and well-preserved. (Inventory #: 12242)
