1924. Gill, Eric. Intaglio print. One of sixteen, this print was signed and numbered by the artist, Eric Gill. This print is the first state of the intaglio design, showing two nude lovers in a standing embrace, their faces obscured by the woman's hair. The print, showing very light soiling, is mounted on thick beige paper. Fine.
