Four Original Cabinet Card Photographs of Apache Scouts, Squaws and Bucks

Rare set of four original cabinet card photographs, ca. 1885, by Andrew Miller, who was himself killed by Yaqui Indians in Sonora, Mexico in 1899. Each titled within the negative, photographs unmarked but Miller's studio imprint can be seen along the lower edge of the print mounts. As follows: Apache Scouts. San Carlos, Ariz.; Apache Squaws; Young Apache Bucks in Winter; Giant Cactus of Ariz. Each 4.25 x 6.5 inches, edges in gilt, a few small ink spots to lower edge of one, the final image of Giant Cactus of Arizona with the ghosted outline of the photographer's signature showing through the lower edge, overall in fine condition.
