Text in Russian with brief propagandic summaries in Kazakh and English. The Russian text, however, covers the rich history of the nomadic culture of yurt dwelling as well as the materials, building techniques, decorations (textiles), motifs for those decorations, symbolism and more. Yurts and textiles are a very rich part of the historic Kazakh culture, and this book features some beautiful, vibrant examples and excellent line-drawing designs.
