In 1537 he was sent on a most delicate and important mission to Scotland, to try to find out how much truth there was in the complaints made by his sister, Margaret, the Queen-Dowager, against her third husband, Lord Methven, and to investigate the relations between the King of Scotland and the French. More importantly, after King Henry's death in 1547, Sadler went on to fight the battle at Pinkie Cleugh. For his outstanding military achievements, he was made one of three Knight bannerets. A handsome copy, internally very clean and handsomely bound to style., (Inventory #: 3155)
