In this letter, Hardy extends an invitation to the recipient, in full: "I hope you can give me the pleasure of your company at dinner in Cain on Saturday next. Yours ever, W. B. Hardy. Dinner jackets - black tie will do." One horizontal fold; very good(+) condition. British biologist and early proponent of biochemical research best remembered for coining the word "hormone."
