Edinburgh and London (c. 1870): William Collins, Sons and Co. Full-Leather. Folio. The Old and New Testaments, containing a compact Bible dictionary with a scripture atlas and plans in color and a series of black and white illustrations of the lands of the Bible engraved from photographs; the family register is not written in. The Psalms of David in meter at end dated 1871 and limited to only 5000 copies. A beautiful Bible, bound in contemporary full brown morocco, stamped in blind, raised bands with compartments lettered and decorated in blind and gilt; all edges gilt. Marginal dampstain to frontis and corner of title page (barely visible).
