Strauß," and his autograph conducting markings throughout.Printed inscription completed in manuscript to verso of title: "Dieses Exemplar der Partitur No.  ist nur [zu Studienzwecken für Herrn Professor Dr. Karl Böhm in Dresden] bestimmt. Berlin, den [16. Oktober 1941 Adolph Fürstner]." Copy number "13" handstamped to outer margin of pp. 7 and 81.Full conductor's markup in blue, red, and lead pencil in Böhm's hand, including metronome marks, instrumental cues, dynamics, bowings, etc. Of particular interest are the programmatic titles in blue pencil: Beginning: "Meerlandschaft" ("quarter =108").7 measures before rehearsal no. 3 (at Allegro): "Kirschblütenfest" ("quarter =126-132").4 measures before rehearsal no. 16: "Vulkanausbruch." 1 measure before rehearsal no. 19: "Kampf der Samurai" ("quarter =126").8 measures after rehearsal no. 32 (at Allegro maestoso): "Kaiser-Hymne"; from here also annotations in pencil concerning entrances and pauses of organ.Authorized notational correction (addition of "8va" with annotation "R.
