Buenos-Aires: Imprenta del Estado, 1836. First Edition. In 1790, the Viceroy of Buenos Aires was concerned about Portuguese settlements in the western territory of Paraguay. He sponsored this expedition on the Paraguay River to establish the border between Paraguay and Brazil.
