Comprising some 22 plus pages of notes on the subject, much of it focused on the Jesuits. All but two pages are entirely in his hand; one typed page has his extensive holograph notes; seven of the pages are in a notebook titled “Jesuits.” [With] Doyle’s Psychic Bookshop and Press publications, The Roman Catholic Church: A Rejoinder (1929) and The Early Christian Church and Modern Spiritualism (1925), both very good copies in publisher’s wrappers, presumably, given the provenance, the author’s own retained copies. Among these papers is a holograph letter, signed, by Doyle seeking information. While undated, presumably Doyle’s notes date from this later period. In addition, there are a number of related clippings and correspondence on the topic. Aside from the expected tears, dog-eared pages and minor smudges, in excellent condition. These pieces were in the 2004 auction sale of papers from Doyle’s estate. (Inventory #: 31045P)
