London: T. Rickaby, 1798. Hardcover. Very Good+. Contemporary dark brown specked calf, ornate border gilt-stamped on boards, gilt-stamped lettering in black leather spine label, gilt-stamped ornament on spine; 12mo; pp. 22, [2], 116, with vignette illustrations throughout (etchings by Gardiner after drawings by Harding). Some light scuffing along spine and edges of boards, otherwise binding is lovely. Text block a bit age-toned throughout, with some off-setting of etchings onto facing pages. Armorial bookplate of John Mark Gourgas. A pretty little book, and uncommon. (Inventory #: JC14339)
