Philadelphia, PA: J.B. Lippincott Company, 1960. Second printing. Hardcover. Lee's classic novel, the basis for the Gregory Peck movie. The book was an instant success and this, the second printing was done very shortly after the first printing. A tight very good copy with two small spots to the front free endpaper and some slight edge wear and small tears to the foredge of a few pages in a very good plus unrestored dust jacket that has some rubbing, edge wear, small chipping to the spine ends and corners. Still, a pleasing copy that has the Truman Capote photograph of Lee on the rear panel that was removed from later jackets. (Inventory #: 144230)
