Stab-stitched pamphlet bound into recent quarter cloth over marbled boards, gilt title to spine. Title printed within double-line border, woodcut head-pieces and decorated initials. Moderate browning to text, faint dampspotting to some leaves. "Torshell" in early hand to front endleaf, interior otherwise clean. * Only edition. The text of a sermon delivered before the opening of Parliament offering thanks for a series of recent victories against Charles I. It ends with an exhortation to Parliament: "Honoured Fathers, Renowned Patrots, I have done, when I have onely summed my Discourse in a few words: Be just" (22).
