It tells of the adventures of the African American twins, Meg and Moe on their way to town. This is a "Guess and Tell" book, which means it uses pictures to tell the story. For example, the first time the word wagon is used, a picture is depicted next to the word. After that when the author wanted to say wagon, there was only the picture of the wagon instead of the word. This book has B&W illustrations throughout. The covers are hard cover, with tan cloth stretched over the board. There is moderate to heavy soiling on the covers and throughout the text. The is a the letter 'M' written on the front cover. The inside front cover is stamped with "Property of Pineville Grade School", as well as it being hand written on the title page. The inside front cover also has the remnant of a book plate. Measures 8 3/4" x 7 1/2".
