Emmanuel Bove (Emmanuel Bobovnikoff. Paris b. 1898. d.1945 Paris) Wrote popular novels under the name of Jean Vallois. In the 1920s his work came to the attention of Colette, who helped him publish his first novel under his own name, Mes amis in 1924. The novel became a success and he consistently published until the the Second World War, winning the prix Figuičre in 1928. (Inventory #: 1315)
