Issued in conjunction with several 2014-2015 exhibitions exploring the Egyptian travels of Swiss-German painter Paul Klee (1879-1940) and German impressionist Max Slevogt (1868-1932). Two separate volumes were produced to address each artist; and they are often sold or packaged together as a set. Here is a stand-alone copy of the Slevogt book. Dozens of sketches and paintings grew out of his time in Egypt in 1914. Lavishly illustrated. Uncommon.
