Williams that, according to the chapbook, was, several years earlier, deemed appropriate for the occasion by Burroughs himself; "Selections from the Earliest and Latest Writings of John Burroughs," including the poem "Waiting" and excerpts from "Accepting the Universe"; poems for Burroughs by Charles Buxton Going, Edwin Markham, May Morgan, and Jean Dwight Franklin; and two tipped-in images: one of Burroughs in "The Nest" at Riverby, and one of C.S.
