The Proclamation of the Irish Republic: Easter 1916
New York: The Stone Street Press, 1976. Original wraps. Near Fine. This uncommon, miniature booklet, a keepsake commemorating the annual "New York Is Book Country" Fair, is #385 of only 500 copies issued. An exact facsimile of the official proclamation triggering the Easter Uprising of 1916 (which the British ultimately suppressed). Clean and Near Fine in its hand-sewn wrappers. Each of the 500 copies was signed at the limitation by Malachi McCourt, who was responsible for the "design, calligraphy, lino cuts and hand-binding". Published by the The Stone Street Press, c. 1976.
