New York: Arrow Editions, 1935. Cloth. Very Good +/Very Good. A solid copy of the 1935 1st edition of this E.E. Cummings "ballet based on 'Uncle Tom's Cabin'". Tight and VG+ to Near Fine in its red cloth, with just a touch of light scratching at the panels. And in a bright, price-intact, VG dustjacket, with light chipping at the panel edges (particularly the front panel's lower-edge). Octavo, wonderful full-color frontispiece portrait of "Tom" by Ben Shahn. Although unsubstantiated, this copy apparently belonged to E.E. Cummings, with a typed, laid-in note which reads: "This volume was part of the personal estate of marion and e.e. cummings. Purchased from the Gotham Book Mart on 20 Dec 69." (Inventory #: 12647)
