[1960s?]. Poster. No. 185 of 300 copies. Lithograph in color on fine paper (Arches?) with one deckle edge. Image: 11.8 x 19.9 inches / 30 x 50.5 cm. Paper: approx. 20.4 inches square / approx. 61.8 cm square. The image is printed in the same size as the original 1939 gouache on paper, acquired by The Museum Moderner Kunst (MUMOK) in Vienna in 1961. The Davis Museum at Wellesley College purchased a lithograph like this one in 1964. Another copy, no. 295, sold at the Neumeister auction house in Munich for $495 in 2007. The source of this lithograph after Kandinsky is unclear, but it is a rich and characteristic image. Some darkening of the paper at the edges in over fifty years, but in near fine condition, with one faint mark near the top of the large upper margin. (Inventory #: 16256)
