The title page indicates this work was written by the author of "Laws of Etiquette". He includes a range of topics that would result in favorable impressions in society. He starts out with a discussion on character, which includes the appropriate way t handle debts. He also includes advice on who to hang out with, conversation, manners, travel and friends.
