New York: Scholastic Magazines Inc. and The International Fund for Concerned Photography and Eugene Smith, 1972. First edition. Paperback. Very Good. Highly uncommon boxed set of related documents both written, aural and visual. The set includes a paperbound quarto entitled Teaching Guide to Images of Man, the photographs of W. Eugene Smith, Bruce Davidson, Cornell Capa and Don McCullin. 109 pp. Some soiling to endpapers else in very good condition. Also housed in this box set is a double-sided cassette narrated by W, Eugene Smith. Lastly, laid into this same box in a separate compartment is a removable Slide-Show Carousel Wheel containing 80 labeled slides. Clearly these materials were assembled for teachers to use in their classrooms. No indication is given as to how many of these boxes were ever assembled. The first that we have come across.
