A complete run in 8 issues of the short-lived French contemporary art and culture journal (each issue approx. 8 pp.), under the editorial direction of Paul Facchetti in affiliation with his eponymous art gallery in Paris, most issues containing a short theoretical or critical essay and a more detailed focus on several contemporary artists. Illustrated profusely throughout with reproductions from photographs and text illustrations. Sml. folio. Orig. printed wrpps., issue no. 1 with age-darkening and toning, otherwise very good. Paris 1965. Paul Facchetti was known for helping to discover and publicize many important abstract artists, including Jackson Pollock. He also worked as a photographer, taking portrait photographs of figures such as Salvador Dalí, Truman Capote, and Brigitte Bardot. The artists featured in this journal include Ung-no Lee, Georges Noël, Jean Dupy, Bruno Pulga, Jef Verheyen, Marc Boussac, and others.
