Photo-illustrated catalog featuring the artwork produced from 1900 to 1918 by Bohumil Kafka (1878-1942), a renown Czech sculptor and pedagogue who studied in Prague with sculptor Josef Václav Myslbek. Considered a predecessor to the Art Nouveau style, Bohumil Kafka worked in an Expressive symbolist style and was highly influenced by the works of Auguste Rodin.
A b/w photographic reproduction of each of the 54 pieces of Kafka's artwork is tipped onto a tan heavy cardstock, with image size varying from 4 5/8 x 2 1/2" to 7 5/8 x 6".
Minor shelf wear and soiling to covers. Gold slightly faded on spine. Text in Czech. Binding in overall good to good+, interior in very good condition. (Inventory #: 41061)
