Over 60 individual broadcast scripts; amusing and instructive Jewish history, culture, religious themes; collection includes: chapter 20, Rebecca Gratz, broadcast February 18, 1945 to chapter 179, The Man from Omaha broadcast May 2, 1948; most of the productions were under the direction of Frank Papp, a few of the earlier shows were under the direction of Ira Avery; each issue gives the writer, musical, production credits, soloist, actor names; the group includes chapters 20, 22, 23, 26, 27; 65; chapters 65 - 84 inclusive; chapters 100 - 135 inclusive; examples of other broadcasts: Cyrus Adler, Monsieur Levy Passes Over, The Seed and the Dream, The Sabbath of Chaim the Porter, The Postmaster of Quincy, The Pastor of Eindhoven, Moses Mendelssohn, The Ransom of Rabbi Meir, My Favorite Assassin, The Great Purim Scandal, Rachel, The Cow that Coughed, many more; each issue averages 12 pages; there are 2 issues of chapter 73 and the broadcast for March 30, 1947, chapter 125, was the same as that broadcast for chapter 75 (with a handwritten note on each cover noting this fact); approx. 5 1/2" x 8 1/4" size; original printed ivory-paper stapled covers, the back usually printed with the Eternal Light theme music & lyrics; light edge, tips wear to the bindings, last issue a little edge-chewed on last leaf; in very good condition. .
