He has also painted in the Hudson River Valley, near his birthplace of Yonkers. His vibrant, undulating works are passionate reactions to nature and ardent appeals for environmental consciousness. Using thick impasto, energetic brushwork and brilliant colors, Stuppin has reated his own particular style. His artwork is in numerous museum collections in the US.
