A third volume, 5.5"x9",maroon cloth, with no exteral or internal marking is a bound volume of 93 plates (1 colored). This volume appears to be an incomplete selection of the b/w duplicate plates (one is hand-colored) that originally appeared in the second part of the actual volume 3 of the published set. Each volume has the bookplate of Dr. John Jeffries with volumes 1 & 2 having the notation in ink "John A. Jeffries from Grandfather" Spines faded. Volume 1 slightly cocked. A few of the plates foxed. Bookplates to front pastedowns, signature of John A. Jeffries to ffep of Vol.3. Scarce.
