[Decatur]: Methodist Orphan's Home, n.d.. Paper. Very good. Square 3" x 3" double sided illustrated advertisement to collect funds and gifts of clothing, books, etc. for the Decatur Methodist's Children's' Home. The Methodist Orphan's Home was first opened in 1871 in Norcross. After a fire in 1873 the North Georgia Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, purchased a small farm on the east side of South Columbia Drive in Decatur and relocated the home in 1873. Rev. Sam P. Jones was one of the first Agent's for the home.
