The Operatives' Magazine includes numbers 1-8 (April-November, 1842) and numbers 10-12 (January-March 1842). Issue 10, December 1841, is missing. Bound in after the March issue of Operatives Magazine are five issues of "The Union Missionary Herald" January-May 1842. These issues are illustrated with one plate and a few sketches. The months of April and March are not bound in order. The Union Missionary Herald was an anti-Slavery publication.
