Condensed catalogue of sheet music for instruction on a variety of instruments, published by Oliver Ditson, who built a major music publishing house in the second half of the 19th century, and was responsible for releasing many popular songs of the era. The titles included here were apparently available at the Boston shop of John C. Haynes & Co., founded in 1865 and named for one of Ditson's major partners, and a manufacturer of guitars and other instruments. A scarce piece of 19th century music ephemera, and not in OCLC.
