Later silk ties. Two small adhesive residue stains on front free end-paper. A near fine copy. Housed in a red cloth slipcase. With the original Leicester Galleries exhibition announcement laid in.Hugh Thomson (1860-1920) was an Irish Illustrator born at Coleraine near Derry. He is best known for his watercolors and pen-and-ink illustrations of works by authors such as Jane Austen, J. M. Barrie, Charles Dickens, Richard Brinsley Sheridan, and William Shakespeare.The School for Scandal is a play written by Richard Brinsley Sheridan (1751-1816).
