The mayor was Aldis Bernard (c. 1810 3 July 1876) was a Canadian dentist and politician, the Mayor of Montreal, Quebec between 1873 and 1875. The hotel is still in operation untder the name Hôtel Le Clos Saint-Louis. A single-fold 7 1/2" x 5" menu printed in purple and green. The front cover announces the dinner with the emblem of Quebec at top. Fare included Halibut with Lobster Sauce, Cincinnati Ham with Champagne Sauce, Black Duck, Italian Cream and much more. Wines includes a Still Hock, Sherry, Champagne (Roederer), Moselle, Claret and Port. The back page includes an extensive list of Toasts. Measures 7 1/2" x 4 7/8".
