Though taking place during the French and Indian War, the acts for this session do not address the conflict. Most notably are a handful of acts concerned with slaves, namely continuing acts "laying an imposition on Negroes...," preventing slaves from meeting in public gatherings, providing for "the more effectual punishment of Negroes and other Slaves," and extending for three years "An Act relating to Servants and Slaves." The work also includes continuing acts related to such issues as liquor sales, horse theft, and prohibiting the raising of swine and geese.
