I beg to say I think you can do better. I don't know much about either subject." Barnum then goes on to offer his services anyway, and states his terms: "My most successful address is entitle 'Success in Life-on the Art of Money Getting' - a subject which all are interested in … I annually decline scores of invitations to lecture, at my usual terms ($100 & expenses) …"
