The price-clipped dust jacket is tattered and torn, and has a loss from the top edge of the rear panel, measuring 3 1/2" wide by 2" deep. Color plates of the artist's work with descriptive text. This copy is inscribed by both authors to the prominent river runner, Art Gallenson, on the title page. Gallenson was a pioneer of western commercial river running, helping to create river running expeditions in the Grand Canyon.
