Unpag. (approx. 150 sheets) first and only issue of Running Dog Press Magazine, edited by Michael Crane, in the form of an unbound xeroxed artist's book, containing various contributions from artists working around the world, including Ken Friedman, Klaus Groh, Carl Johnson, Y Matsuzawa, Endre Tot, Allen Ross, and Horacio Zabala. Illustrated profusely throughout. 4to. Orig. wrpps., pages loose as issued, housed in the original printed manila envelope. Chicago (Running Dog Press) 1976. The introductory note from Michael Crane reads as follows: "'Running Dog One and Done' is the first issue of the Running Dog Press magazine. The attempt of this publication is to present the documents of the experiments and explorations artists are undertaking today on an international level. Its scope is to be inclusive of the reports and ideas of those individuals involved in research, and hopes to see the definition of 'artist' expand to include the contributions from scientific and sociological fields as well....This issue is a collective effort and is made available by the energy and contributions of all the artists included. '...One and Done' is unbound because this issue is not thematic and is a collection of various materials from a diversity of places and mental spaces. It is also unbound so that the readers can recycle the pages within their own informations system." Scarce; as of September 2016, WorldCat locates only three holdings in North American institutions.
