Very good condition. The edges of the covers are very lightly bumped, soiled and rubbed. Internally clean and bright. The jacket is very worn, with numerous losses from the edges. Price-clipped. Although the jacket is worn, the book is rarely found with a jacket. Signed by John Held Jr. on the half title page. Not many artists define an age as acutely as John Held Jr. defines the "Roaring Twenties." Held worked for the Salt Lake City Tribune as the sports cartoonist when he was sixteen.
