Sound and complete, with the 32 pp. of examples in musical notation at the end - "Appendice musical." The author was really Henry Debusne [1861-1942] -- who used the pseudonym "Henry Prunières" in his youth. A few years after publishing this significant study, which had been his University doctoral thesis, he founded an important serial: 'La Revue musicale.'
