The program for a Broadway musical revival that ran for 21 performances in May, 1945 at the City Center. The role of "Carmen" was played, alternately, by Muriel Smith and Inez Matthews, who were members of a cast of 115, that included Napoleon Reed, LeVern Hutcherson, Elton J. Warren, Glenn Bryant, Buck and Bubbles, and Jack Carr. Music by Bizet, staging, lighting and color by Hassard Short. The center pages have the lyrics for principal songs from the musical, including "Stan' Up An' Fight," and "My Joe." (Inventory #: WRCLIT73907)
