Boise City: Frank Kenyon, 1866. 237,[1]pp. Original printed wrappers. Front wrapper chipped and torn, with some text loss. Small tears and paper loss slightly affectly text persist through initial leaves, with titlepage somewhat crudely repaired. Light tanning. Good. An extremely scarce Idaho imprint, publishing the journal from the third session of the territorial Council, which met at the end of 1865 through the beginning of 1866. This body acted as the upper house of the legislature and initially consisted of seven members. The journal of the council records the events, votes, and several speeches made in the chamber, mostly dealing with the regulation of mining, cattle ranching, infrastructure, and the organization of the territory.
