Olive buckram cloth boards, cream paper onlay, olive ink lettering and decorative elements, dark grey topstain. 4to. xx ads; vii Introduction; 104 np plates. Illus. (b/w plates). The "new edition" of the original four volumes by Joseph Nash, published in 1838-1849. Issued in wrappers, this copy was period bound and the boards served their purpose well, as the textblock/plates are in better condition than often found.
